Terms of Service

1. Agreement and eligibility

By selecting Agree & Continue, you accept these Terms. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority where you reside if higher, to maintain a Duty Dock account. You are responsible for activity performed using your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure.

2. Estimates, not official assessments

Duty Dock provides estimated Jamaican vehicle-import duties, taxes, freight-related and local charges, supplier-listing information, comparisons and other planning tools. Estimates may be incomplete or inaccurate because of vehicle classification, declared value, exchange rates, customs rules, concessions, document review, fees and changing requirements. Duty Dock is not Jamaica Customs Agency or any government agency. Outputs are not an official customs assessment, quotation, valuation or guaranteed import eligibility determination.

Before purchasing or shipping a vehicle, independently verify legal import eligibility, applicable customs charges and documentation with the relevant authorities and qualified service providers.

3. Import assistance and messages

Duty Dock may facilitate conversations about vehicle importing or referrals to dealers, customs brokers or other professionals. Messages are support and referral enquiries, not a guarantee of a response, professional representation, customs clearance or transaction outcome. Unless specifically agreed in writing, third-party professionals are independent of Latouche Technologies LLC; you are responsible for evaluating their credentials, prices and terms. You agree not to send abusive, unlawful, fraudulent or spam content through messaging.

4. Accounts and acceptable use

Provide accurate information when using the service. Do not circumvent access limits, impersonate others, misuse suppliers' materials, interfere with system security, scrape the service without authorization or use the platform for unlawful activities. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect users, the service or comply with law.

5. Plans, payments and cancellation

Current plan features and prices are shown before purchase. Paid plans may renew automatically according to the terms presented by the applicable billing provider. Cancel through the platform where your subscription was purchased; uninstalling the app does not cancel a subscription. Refunds and billing disputes are handled under applicable law and the provider's terms. Changes to paid benefits or pricing will be communicated as legally required. Fees paid to third parties, including customs brokers and shipping providers, are separate unless expressly stated otherwise.

6. Information, intellectual property and third parties

Duty Dock and its original materials belong to Latouche Technologies LLC or its licensors. Vehicle descriptions and supplier information may originate from third parties, whose content and services remain subject to their own rules. You retain rights to information you submit and grant us permission to process it as needed to operate the service in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7. Service availability and liability

We work to provide reliable services, but availability, data completeness and error-free operation are not guaranteed. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded, and Latouche Technologies LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from reliance on estimates or third-party services. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.

8. Changes and disputes

We may update these Terms and display a new version for acceptance when required. Continued account access after a material change may require accepting the updated version. Disputes should first be raised with our support team. Applicable law, consumer rights and any mandatory jurisdiction rules continue to apply; these Terms do not attempt to override them.

9. Account closure and contact

You may request account deletion through the app or our account deletion page. Deleting an account does not automatically cancel an external-store subscription. For questions about these Terms, email support@latouchetechnologies.com.
